At Kompac, we know that we are the often the last step before you present your harvest to for your family. Our service starts from your arrival at the drive thru drop-off. We offload your animal(s) into stainless steel buggies and bring them inside to be tagged, landed on the rail, skinned, and washed before entering our cooler.
Our staff is trained to skin the carcass carefully and efficiently to minimize the transfer of any field debris or hair. We then treat and wash the carcass with hot water before chilling.
We highly recommend leaving the hides in tact until your arrival. The hide is a custom fit protective layer that helps us all maintain your harvest as clean as possible.
Kompac staff is here to protect the success of your hunt. We have a first class aging cooler to ensure the best flavor from your harvest.
Kompac is the only facility in the region that offers an 11 ft aging rail for Elk and Moose. That full height helps us keep the full carcass intact until it reaches the cutting floor. That way we can maximize your return from of the most valuable cuts.

Jim traveled to Kalamazoo, MI to get the best smokehouse in the business. Trusty Big Al’, a two truck Alkar batch oven, is right in the heart of the facility for cooking and smoking.
